This was a sizeable addition and complete renovation of the old "Hi's" restaurant at 400 E. Ocean Ave. in Lompoc, considered by many locals to be a local landmark.  The iconic "Hi!, Let's Eat" sign was preserved and refurbished.  The owner wanted to try and keep a "retro/beach" feel to the interior.
